Our Bongo

With a hire from GoBongo you get all the fun and freedom of a “classic” small campervan, but also enjoy modern features including : power assisted steering, drivers airbag, fully automatic 4-speed gearbox, and powerful 2.5 litre engines.

Externally our van has electric folding wing mirrors, fog lights, rear spoiler with high level brake light, privacy glass to side and rear windows, towbar with single electrics, and external socket for on site mains electric hook-up. Internal features include electric front windows, remote central locking, heated rear window, separate climate control with AC for front and rear seats, and high level storage cupboards with 12 volt LED downlighters. The side windows have luxury electric descending blinds, plus manual curtains to front and rear of the main cabin which give total privacy.  A key feature of the Bongo design is the electric lifting roof which goes up and down at the touch of a button to give extra headroom in the cabin by day, and creates a full double berth above by night. The canvas section of the freetop has zips for light and ventilation, backed up by all round mosquito netting.

For your enetertainment we can provide a DVD player which operates on 12 volt supply, plus stereo CD / radio with 4-speaker system and i-Pod connection leads, 240 volt mains hook-up with multiple socket outlets for lower and upper berths, 12 volt socket outlets to front and rear, with plug-in power inverter to supply 240 volt electronic devices ( laptop, phone, etc ) from 12 volt sockets when off mains.  12 volt systems are backed up by a 100 amphour leisure battery and built in mains charger.

Our van is equipped with battery operated smoke detectors, for added piece of mind.  Full operating instructions will be supplied with the van and its equipement, and all hirers will receive comprehensive personal instruction on handover, backed up with telephone support in case of queries.
